DIRECTORY OF CONTACTS: The Department of Business Oversight offers a useful guide listing contact information for a number of agencies relevant for seniors.

LOCAL SERVICES: 

California 2-1-1 is a free phone number Californians can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to be connected with health and human services in their communities, including food programs, employment information, affordable housing options, and much more. Find out if your county has access to 2-1-1.
